We are Janou Duijs and Mark Damm, proud owners and your hosts during your stay at our inn in Winterberg. In 2022, we decided to embark on a new adventure and emigrated from the Netherlands to beautiful Germany to build our lives here. It was our dream to create a place where peace, nature, and coziness come together – and we have realized this dream with Gasthof Sonnental.
Our inn is nestled in the breathtaking hills of the Sauerland region, where every day feels like a mini-retreat in nature.
